Although the biggest draw is Alki Beach, the heart of West Seattle is The Junction. There, visitors walk to the many shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues on California Avenue and Alaska Street. Every year, West Seattle celebrates its heritage during the weeklong Seafair festival.
