This expansive state park is the largest one in Washington, covering more than 14,000 acres. It sits on both the Little Spokane and Spokane Rivers. Some of the top features include the Spokane River Centennial Trail, a 37-mile mixed-use trail, as well as exhibits on early area residents, and a large off-road vehicle park.
Some visitors enjoy Riverside State Park camping opportunities. Hotel options include The Apple Tree Inn, where rooms are affordably priced starting at $61 per night, and Quality Inn Oakwood, located within six miles of the park. Rooms start at $159 per night.
The main benefit is the easy access a nearby hotel offers, allowing you to get on the trails or into other outdoor recreational areas first thing in the morning.
A day pass to Riverside State Park costs $10, and an annual pass costs $30.
