4-Star Luxury Near Old Town in Stockholm

Affordable Stockholm Luxury by the Water

Discover a level of 4-star luxury at an affordable price when you visit the Hilton Stockholm Slussen Hotel. Here you'll be greeted by water views along with scenes that overlook Riddarjärden and Stockholm's Old Town district. This puts you within walking distance of Stockholm's cobblestone streets lined with tasty eateries and quaint shops. You'll be close to fantastic museums and a short train ride from the Friends Arena. Rent a bike right from the hotel to help you get around.

Health Club and Aerobics Classes On-Site

When you're not exploring the streets of Stockholm, cozy up in the hotel and enjoy its many impressive amenities. Start by staying healthy on your trip by visiting the on-site health club and taking part in the offered aerobics classes on-site. After you're done there, relax in the sauna. If you have children along, drop them off at the babysitting center so that you can enjoy the hotel's amenities on your own or explore nearby attractions.

If you're in town for business, the Hilton is a great place to host meetings. With 16 newly renovated meeting rooms and a 285-seat auditorium, it's easy to find space to hold small meetings or to give larger presentations from the comfort of your own hotel.

Need a bite to eat? There are several Hilton Stockholm Slussen restaurant options. Start at the Panorama Restaurant for fantastic views of the surrounding area while you eat breakfast, and then check out the Eken Matsal, which serves Scandinavian cuisine for lunch and dinner. When all you need is a quick drink, enjoy cocktails at the Eken Bar.

Bathrobes and Climate Control for Comfort

Rooms offer comfortable amenities like complimentary bathrobes and climate control options. After a long day, you can even grab a drink from your personal minibar. Upgrade to a suite or executive room for more space, included amenities, and comfort.

The Bottom Line

The Hilton is in a great location with many admirable amenities. You can even grab a room at a fairly affordable price. However, if you're a traveling family, an Airbnb rental might be cheaper and more comfortable for your family. If you're a business person looking for 5-star amenities, the Grand Hotel is perhaps a better option, where you can indulge in spa treatments during your stay.

Expert Reviews
Lonely Planet
Stockholm’s unmissable Hilton sports modern, comfortable rooms with swirly marble bathrooms and everything you’d expect in a top-notch business hotel.
The intriguing labyrinth of levels, separate buildings, and corridors is filled with such unique details as a rounded stairway lighted from between the steps.
Time Out
Once a Scandic Hotel, the Stockholm Slussen reopened as Sweden's first Hilton in 2002 and, despite its five-star rating, there's something faintly depressing about its lack of personality.
