“Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.”
- Matsuo Basho
The Annex is based around Canada's largest and most vibrant university, the University of Toronto. The stately bay-and-gable homes around the university give the district a classic feel, while all the student pubs, shops, and housing keep it young. The area is home to Canadian living literary legend Margaret Atwood, as well as some of the finest dinosaur exhibits in North America at Toronto's Royal Ontario Museum. To the south is residential South Annex, with top-notch dining along Harbord Street and College Avenue.
