Fairmont Waterfront – Harbor Beauty and Home-like Comfort

What Do the Rooms Include?

The Fairmont Waterfront's rooms and suites feature huge windows with picturesque views, elegant bathrooms, and multimedia connectivity hubs.

What Amenities Are Available?

You’ll wish you had more time to stay once you set foot in this popular hotel. Consistently ranked one of Vancouver’s finest, it is known for its fine cuisine and beautiful view of Vancouver Harbor. The rooftop herb garden is used by the top-rated chefs at the ARC restaurant and bar. The Fairmont is family-friendly, with welcome gifts for kids, free bike rentals, and pet supplies. The Fairmont also caters to business travelers with 24-hour room service and a business center.

What Are the Rates Like?

The average rate is about $165 USD for a city view.  Harborview rooms typically run about $40 USD higher. Suites and larger rooms with additional amenities, such as a mini-bar, start around $190 USD and can run as high as $400 USD. The hotel offers specials, so if you are able to book non-refundable stays, you can get better rates. The Fairmont boasts a Green Key ranking of 4 and offers discounted parking for electric and hybrid cars.

What's There to Do Nearby?

Step outside the hotel into the beautiful harbor and there will be no end of activity. Outdoor theaters are popular year-round, thanks to the mild climate. Dog-friendly spots in nearby Stanley Park and even a dog-friendly beach in Coal Harbor have leash-free hours. Take a tour by sea-plane or boat to explore the harbor in full, or watch the cruise ships pull into and out of the terminal a few blocks away. Downtown Vancouver, including Robson Street with its multitude of ships and dining, is just minutes away by SkyTrain.

What's the Bottom Line?

The Fairmont Waterfront's superb cuisine and the elegance of the rooms will make you feel like you’re in a premium hotel, but the friendly staff, comfortable beds, and endless amenities help you feel at home. The staff will gladly offer suggestions and directions to help make your stay memorable. This is an excellent choice among Vancouver hotels.

Frommer's
This large Fairmont hotel occupies a triangular high-rise tower right across the street from Canada Place, offering front-row views of the cruise-ship terminal and its hulking vessels.
If you want to see the giant cruise ships right below you, ask for a harbor-view room on the ninth floor or above; for something really special and kid friendly, book one of the terrace rooms that have doors leading out to the hotel's rooftop garden and swimming pool.
The Telegraph
The Waterfront is a sleek property in a striking location that caters for businessmen, tourists and cruise ship connectors alike. What this large chain hotel lacks in character it makes...
DK Eyewitness
A spectacular glass-and-steel hotel across from the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center. Ocean, mountain, and city views can be stunning, depending on your floor: ask when you reserve.
