“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”
Yaletown is one of Vancouver's newest and most densely populated neighborhoods. Since the 1986 World Exposition, developers have constructed high-rise apartments in the area at a ferocious pace. Many tech startups have taken root here, and you can pull up a chair on a cafe patio and watch locals "work from home" in yoga pants with their little dogs by their sides. Nearby David Lam, George Wainborn, and Emery Barnes Parks offer some prime spots to picnic and relax. At night, Yaletown comes alive with bars and bistros.
