The Capital Hilton: Luxury in the Heart of the Capital

What Do I Need to Know About the Capital Hilton?

Whether in town for business or a getaway with your partner or family, the Capital Hilton provides all the luxury, amenities, and services that Hiltons are known for. With signature beds and a relaxing atmosphere, any visitor to this hotel is sure to be well-rested during their stay in the city. You’ll be able get work done in their modern business center, stay fit in their fitness center, or relax for a day with a massage in their full-service spa.

What’s the Area Like?

Truly located in the heart of the U.S. capital, this Hilton property is just two blocks from the White House and three metro stations. If you want to experience U.S. history, many of the city’s attractions, including the Washington Monument and the World War II Museum, are all within walking distance. The area also has plenty of eateries to visit, and trendy Dupont Circle is just a short metro ride away.

What are the Rates?

Stays at the Hilton aren’t cheap, but then again, they’re not supposed to be. Rates vary depending on dates, with their standard rooms costing between $199 and $269. The king bed executive room, on the other hand, runs about $354. If you’re searching for a deal, rates could be significantly cheaper if booked through Hipmunk, with deals often available for $159 and less. For this price, luxury in D.C. has never been better!

What’s the Bottom Line?

Spacious but cozy, elegant yet casual, the Hilton is one of the most renowned hotel chains for a reason. Given how difficult transportation can be in Washington, D.C., the Capital Hilton’s central location and distance from metro stops make getting around the city an absolute delight. Just remember, some amenities will come at an extra price. That being said, this Hilton rivals any other hotel in the city!
