In 2007, the hotel was renovated in a contemporary style.  The rooms have large, comfortable beds and beautifully designed bathrooms that include air conditioning, a television, working desk, and a direct phone line. Also, the rooms offer views of either the Acropolis or the Parliament.  Deluxe rooms are perfect for families in need of an extra bed and more space.

Business travelers can take advantage of the hotel’s faxing and Internet services, while babysitting is available for couples with young children.  A free buffet breakfast is served in the beautifully decorated restaurant.

The Amalia Hotel Athens is only a few meters from tram and tour bus stops, so travelers unable to walk all day can make use of public transportation.  Directly off the Syntagma Square, the hotel is perfect for visitors who want to see as much as possible in Athens in just a few days.  Located in a safe district, the Amalia Hotel is surrounded by quality restaurants, bars and museums, and near entertainment venues, shops, and tour services.  The airport bus stops just outside of the hotel and costs only 5 Euros one-way trip.

The Amalia Hotel offers standard single and double rooms for less than $100 per night, making it a great choice for budget travelers. Superior and deluxe single and double rooms are also available for just a bit more, between $110 and $130. All rates include breakfast and free Internet.

The Amalia, a four star landmark hotel, provides affordable comfort in the heart of the city.  It it is one of the best cheap hotels in Athens, and has received the International Green Key Award and won the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the years 2011 to 2014.
