Polished and homey rooms have iPod docks, free bottled water, Keurig coffeemakers, and excellent marble bathrooms
This hotel originally opened in 1929 as the Mayfair Manor. When it was renovated in 1987, many of its period features were restored to their original elegance.
It opened in 1929 under another name, but has remained a comfortable lodging house ever since. Classic 10-story building is petite, with 60 rooms touched in homey Southern styles.
