Elegant Short- and Long-Term Accommodations

Walk to Popular Attractions

The Ascot Hotel & Spa offers elegant accommodations in downtown Copenhagen, across from the Vesterport and Central train stations. Centrally located, this Copenhagen hotel offers easy access to restaurants, cafes, and the famous Tivoli Gardens. This full service hotel caters to the discerning tastes of vacationers, business travelers, and extended stay visitors.

Bike Around Tivoli Gardens

Start your day in Copenhagen with a delicious breakfast from room service. Rent a bicycle from the hotel and explore the neighboring Tivoli Gardens or have the concierge arrange a guided tour. Book an appointment at the on-site spa to unwind at the end of a busy sightseeing day.

Explore the Tycho Brahe Planetarium and catch a 3-D film, just a few blocks a way. Nearby Stroget is Copenhagen's largest shopping district, including one of Europe's longest pedestrian streets. Here you're sure to find the perfect souvenir at one of the designer or budget-friendly shops. Hop on the metro and ride out to the popular Little Mermaid sculpture on Langelinje Pier. Be sure to make time to tour Amalienborg Palace, a 1700's palace featuring Danish Rococco architecture.

Luxurious Rooms and Apartments

Elegantly appointed with classic furnishings, the luxurious rooms at Ascot Hotel & Spa exude comfort and modern convenience. Keep family members back home informed about your travels with the free Wi-Fi or relax in your room with an on-demand movie. Splurge for a suite or penthouse and enjoy a view of Copenhagen from your own private balcony.

Travelers looking to spend weeks in Copenhagen will find all the amenities they need in the furnished Ascot Apartments. With modern furnishings and fully equipped kitchens, you will feel right at home in the middle of Copenhagen. Prepare your own meals and snacks, and lounge on the living room sofa while you catch-up on email or your favorite TV show.

The Bottom Line -

Offering competitive room rates, staying at the Ascot Hotel & Spa Copenhagen is relatively affordable and comfortable. For extended trips, the Ascot Apartments allow you to make your own meals and save money. Like the Ascot Hotel & Spa, the nearby Imperial Hotel Copenhagen offers convenient access to Vesterport train station and suites with full kitchen facilities. However, the room rates at the Imperial Hotel Copenhagen are more expensive. Additionally, suites at the Imperial Hotel Copenhagen include kitchens, but the hotel does not offer full apartments.

Expert Reviews
This is one of the best small hotels in Copenhagen, located on a side street about a 2-minute walk from Town Hall Square.
DK Eyewitness
The wall reliefs of men and women bathing are a reminder that this building was once a public baths. The bathrooms, rather appropriately, are prodigious and luxurious.
Lonely Planet
The friendly Ascot occupies a former bathhouse erected a century ago by the same architect (Martin Nyrop) who designed Copenhagen’s city hall.
