The Hotel Opera, located on a quiet side street, offers  the convenience of being centrally located within walking distance of the Royal Danish Theater, Nyhavn and Thorvaldsens Museum. In fact, throughout the hotel’s corridors there are galleries of photographs that depict some of theatre’s most famous performances and actors.  

Only a ten minute walk away is the famous 17th century waterfront, canal and entertainment district of Nyhavn which offers visitors the chance to enjoy the wares of some wonderful bars and restaurants while soaking up the atmosphere of this historic harbor. Nyhavn is also the perfect spot  to enjoy a tour of its celebrated canals. 

The famous Opera House on Holman is also nearby and readily accessible via the canal bus from Nyhavn. This striking building is on the waterfront and is home to Denmark's national opera.
