Affordable and Stylish Stay in Copenhagen

The Scandic Copenhagen centrally located offers a comfortable budget-friendly stay and convenient access to many of Copenhagen’s must see spots. Located just 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from Copenhagen Airport means you won’t have to spend your vacation driving to explore. Whether you are here to discover Denmark’s cultural hub or partake in Copenhagen’s nightlife this hotel will give you convenience and comfort during your stay.

Little Mermaids, Magnificent Museums, and a Magical Music Scene

If you feel like exploring a whole new world make your way to a popular landmark, The Little Mermaid statue in Langelinie district where you can take advantage of the shops and dining this area offers. Steps from your hotel are the houses of Nyhavn which provides a colorful backdrop to an area filled with cafes, music, and shopping. Nearby Tivoli amusement park offers a kaleidoscope of activates and amusements such as the Rutschebanen, the world’s oldest operating rollercoaster. The Nyhavn and Tivoli areas become more magical in the month of December when illuminated with holiday decorations.

If you are looking for high culture, Copenhagen is home to several museums. The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek focuses on classical pieces and offers the largest Rodin collection outside of France. The Louisiana offers over 3,000 pieces of modern art, and great views in its site on a cliff overlooking Øresund.

You’ll find plenty to occupy your evenings as Copenhagen boasts one of the highest number of restaurants and bars per capita in the world. Add a soundtrack to your night at the VEGA - House of Music and Mojo Blues Bar for a small venue music experience.

Cost-Conscious Contemporary Style

This newly renovated 486 room hotel offers rooms ranging from Economy, which is ideal for short stays on a budget, to more elaborate Presidential Suites. All rooms come equipped with thoughtful amenities like a hairdryer, iron, air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a desk. Recharge after a long day of sightseeing at the newly opened restaurant, The Grill. If you have children in tow, this hotel will cater to their needs by offering child friendly menus and a playroom for their entertainment.

The Bottom Line

This hotel's central location, affordability, and contemporary style make it worth consideration to take in the central sights of Copenhagen. Proximity to the airport and free Wi-Fi will save you some money. You will save the most by booking an Economy room, but be forewarned that the rooms are 161 square feet and you may find that an extended stay will start to feel cramped.

The first thing you notice is the Guest Wall, a floor-to-ceiling blackboard on which previous visitors have scribbled messages in colored chalk.
An offspring of Copenhagen's frostiest grande dame, Hotel D'Angleterre, the Front feels less like a lady-in-waiting than a parody of the pandering boutique hotel.

All the rooms are lavish in their comforts, with deep beige and brown accents, Barcelona chairs, and flat-screen TVs, as well as tiled bathrooms with vanity mirrors.
