Highly Rated Comfort in Northern Key West

Eclectic Duval Street and Stunning Beaches

The Inn at Key West is an independent hotel on the northeast end of Key West, very close to the historic Old Town. Old Town is full of museums and Victorian mansions, but don't be fooled; it's also the primary business district. To explore unique stores and shops, visit Duval Street either by riding the trolley or walking along the charming, cobblestone roads. A short drive east is the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden.

Views of the Gulf of Mexico

Couples, relax by the pool and get a few drinks from the tiki bar; or just enjoy the evening in one of the memorable, round, woven loungers. This largest pool in Key West is a second swimming option if you've already been in the water at the beach. For breakfast and lunch at the hotel, visit Hammocks Cafe. If the weather is great, ask to enjoy your meal al fresco style. Self-parking is free, the front desk at the hotel is open 24 hours, and multilingual staff members are there to make every aspect of your stay as simple and pleasant as possible.

Rich-Looking Rooms for Less

The sun and sand can get tiring; so don't be afraid to stay in for a morning or evening, and appreciate the clever, calming wooden accents in each room. Watch premium satellite channels on the flat-panel TV, or check up on things online with free Wi-Fi. Your room also includes a refrigerator, a phone with free local calls, and a desk with a coffee-tea maker for when you need to get some work done, or just want to wake up early.

Hipmunk Staff Review

The Inn at Key West creates an experience that fits the tropical setting, and that separates it from the standard white, bland look of other hotel rooms. For a similarly rated hotel on the coast, but closer to the Key West International Airport, consider Sheraton Suites Key West.  Both hotels offer similar amenities and rates, with one strong difference: the Sheraton Suites Key West offers conference space and meeting rooms, a plus for business travelers. However, if you are just looking to enjoy Key West and its famous tropical paradise, and if distance from the Key West airport is not a factor in your trip, you can't go wrong with The Inn at Key West.
