The hotel offers its guests a unique dining experience in the French restaurant on the top floor, which revolves in a 360 degree rotation providing great views of the city.

An Area Rich with History and Culture

Kyoto is home to several temples for those who want to experience the heritage of Japan and the 1,200-year-old Kyoto area. The Kiyomizu-dera Temple has the Otowa-no Taki flows, a waterfall that many believe will bring wisdom and health to those who drink the water. There is also the Kodai-ji Buddist Temple, known for having beautiful gardens, and the Sanjusangen-do Temple, home of the statue of the Goddess of Mercy. This statue is famous for having 1,000 arms. Visitors who want to relax and enjoy the outdoors can visit the Arishiyama district. Here there are cherry blossoms that bloom in the fall, and the Moon Crossing Bridge that crosses over the Katsura river.

The guest rooms at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto are designed with comfort in mind. There are 484 rooms ranging from a standard twin to a suite that accommodates several guests. Each room has free WiFi and a refrigerator. The hotel has a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. There is a sauna for male guests, and in-room massages for those who want to indulge.  The hotel has seven restaurants to choose from. The Top of Kyoto restaurant is perfect for a special evening, or guests can enjoy a casual meal at one of the Chinese or traditional Japanese restaurants on the first floor. There is also a lounge and a bar where guest can have a drink. The hotel also offers event space for large functions and eight different meeting rooms for smaller business activities.
