Hipmunk Staff Review

From the minute guests walk into this hotel, they will feel like they are in the French Quarter district of New Orleans. From the beautiful cobblestone walkways to the lush gardens to the large courtyards to the gas lamps, it certainly provides the Big Easy feel. The hotel is similar to Disney’s Pop Century Resort, except this hotel offer unique activities like horse-drawn carriage rides, a pirate-themed cruise for younger guests, and an evening Cajun Campfire.

Expert Reviews
A "New Orleans theme radiates through" this "wonderful", "relaxing" "hidden gem" of a resort offering "lovely" grounds with "cobblestone streets."
It might be 1,008 rooms and styled in the spirit of Mardi Gras, but the French Quarter is often quieter and more relaxing than most other moderately priced Disney resorts.
Ornate Big Easy–style row houses with wrought iron–clad balconies cluster around magnolia-shaded squares in this relatively quiet resort, which appeals to couples more than families.
