What's the Bottom Line?

Rough Guide
Nothing about the longstanding Riviera casino makes it worth staying in one of its two thousand-plus very ordinary rooms.
The Riviera may have opened in 1955, but its decor is pure 70s, from the smoke-mirrored ceilings to the purple neon tubing to the polished brass railing surrounding the fern-filled planters.
Time Out
When the Riviera opened in 1955, Liberace headlined in its showroom. Though the original king of bling is long gone, the entertainment offerings at the Riv a half-century later are just as camp.
