Carlton Hotel Is Conveniently Located in Central London

What Do the Rooms Include?

Room amenities include a coffee/team maker, private en suite bathroom with shower, and TV with hairdryers and irons available upon request. All rooms come with a free English breakfast to help you start off the day right. In addition to the rooms in the main hotel, there are rooms in an annex that is located six doors down. These rooms are more recently renovated, though note that there isn't an elevator in the annex.

What Amenities Does the Carlton Hotel Offer?

The front desk is there to help you if there's anything that you need. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the main building including public areas and rooms. With the luggage storage area, you can store your luggage if you arrive in London before your check-in time or need a place for your luggage after checking out. Each morning, a full English buffet breakfast is available that includes items such as coffee, orange juice, cereal, eggs, and toast.

What Are the Rates Like?

Rooms at the Carlton Hotel range in size and can include a single bed, double bed, two singles, a double and single, or two doubles. Prices range from about $95 for a single to around $175 for a room with two doubles, though prices vary depending on the season and how far in advance you book the room.

What's There To Do Nearby?

With Kings Cross St. Pancras station just across the street, you'll have easy access to all central London has to offer.  You can also take a stroll to the London Canal Museum, British Library, and University of London, all located within one mile of the Carlton Hotel.

What’s the Bottom Line?

The Carlton Hotel is an excellent deal considering the price for a room and its location. However, don't expect a lot of frills with this hotel. The rooms are very basic, including a small bathroom with only a stand-up shower. It's a great option if you just need a place to spend the night while you explore London.
