Upscale Independent Hotel in Osaka's Business District

Luxury in the Business District

Visit Imperial Hotel Osaka, an independent, upscale hotel in Osaka's Umeda business district. Rooms feature beautiful city views, crisp decor, and an elegant ambience. The subway and bus are nearby, putting Osaka's many wonders at your fingertips. Stay in and enjoy racquetball, yoga, and a golf course, or venture into the city to see some of Japan's most spectacular sights. Free Wi-Fi makes this a great destination for business travelers, couples, and entire families.

Many Fine Dining Options

Imperial Hotel Osaka offers several dining options. Three fine dining restaurants are available for lunch and dinner within the hotel. It also features a coffee shop which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with kids' options available, and a sushi restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner. A breakfast buffet is available in the morning.

Musicians and music lovers will enjoy practicing instruments in the sound-proofed, private music room which is available to all guests. Children have their own room, too. The Kids Room is a play and sleep place for children to spend time during the day under supervised care.

Explore Osaka by visiting a few great museums. Nearby are the Mint Museum, the Osaka Museum of History, and the Osaka Science museum. Spend some time outside beneath the cherry blossoms in stunning Kema Sakuranomiya Park or head over to historic Osaka Castle, which was originally constructed in the 16th century and has since been rebuilt and turned into a park.

Tranquil Rooms

Unwind from your day of sightseeing in your comfortable sound-proofed hotel room. A nice shower under the rainfall shower head will relax all your muscles, and a soak in the specially designed bathtub will put any travel stresses right out of your head. Order room service and eat it while sitting atop the down comforter and watching HDTV channels. A drink from the minibar is the perfect way to wind down your evening after dinner. Once you're ready to fall asleep, rest your head on whatever pillow you selected from the pillow menu as you slide into luxurious bedding.

The Bottom Line

Umeda is a business district, which means that some of Osaka's major tourist attractions are a little farther away. But Japan's fantastic public transportation system makes getting to and from most parts of the city very doable for guests. The luxury and amenities of the hotel make it a worthwhile stay.
