Value Hotel on the Tram Line in Oslo

Affordable Accommodations Outside the City Center

Located right next door to Oslo University's main Hospital (Rikshospitalet), and at the end of tram lines 17 and 18, Gaustad Hotell is a little further removed from the centre of the city, but with trams running every 10 to 15 minutes, you are never far from the action.

Along the route to downtown you will find plenty to do and see including Frogner Park, the grounds of a former manor house which houses the Gustav Vigeland sculpture park and museum. Near the hotel is Ris Church, built in 1932, famous for its lovely stained glass windows. A bit longer ride on the tram will bring you to the Royal Palace (open to the public in summer) and the beautiful grounds surrounding it.
