Expert Reviews
Former 1907 private residence converted to quaint and cheery inn with wicker love seats, Chippendale chairs, claw-foot tubs and perennial crystal decanter of sherry at tea time.
Lonely Planet
Situated in a genteel old Edwardian house one block below the top of Nob Hill, the 20 rooms at this inn are classically decorated with antiques, armoires and (some) four-poster beds.
Built in 1907 as a private home, this four-story inn has been masterfully refurbished with Victorian-style antiques, expensive fabrics... and a magnificent etched-glass European-style lift.
