What Amenities Does the Goodwood Park Hotel Offer?

How many times do you get to stay in a hotel that's part national monument? Goodwood Park Hotel is a heritage building, with its Grand Tower receiving National Monument status in 1989. The hotel is situated in the city center, but designed in such a way that you feel as though you’re a million miles away. Lush, landscaped gardens surround the hotel, reviving a colonial era.

Its facilities, such as a modern fitness center, two outdoor swimming pools, and a well-equipped business center, make it the perfect choice for the business or leisure traveler who wants a luxurious stay in the heart of Singapore.

Travelers can find last-minute deals on rooms priced around $280 a night, but the standard rate is closer to $350, similar to the price of neighboring hotels. Suites cost around $450 a night. The hotel often runs promotions and package deals that add extras like dining credit and spa vouchers to the price of your stay.

What’s the Bottom Line?

The hotel is in the shopping and entertainment hub of Orchard Road, meaning that the world’s best fashion and technology brands will be at your doorstep, as well as dozens of restaurants and bars.

Must-visit shopping centers within walking distance include ION Orchard, 313@Somerset, and Wheelock Place. Singapore's financial district is only 10 minutes away by taxi, and the hotel is walking distance from the MRT transit system. Forbes Travel Guide
Goodwood Park Hotel is one of Singapore’s heritage hotels, erected in 1900 as the Teutonia Club, a social enclave for German expats.
Rough Guide
Set on a leafy hillock, designed by the architect responsible for the Raffles, and likewise a genuine landmark in a cityscape characterized by transience.
While Goodwood doesn't come close to matching the business and fitness centers of other hotels in its price range, its four restaurants are highly rated by locals.
One caveat: The main pool is also overlooked by the glass walls of the main lobby, so if you prefer privacy, choose a room beside the Balinese-inspired Mayfair pool.
