Take in the Skyline from Singapore’s Tallest Hotel

Four-and-a-half star Swissotel The Stamford is located exactly where you want to be for enjoying Singapore’s sights, shopping, and premier dining. Five minutes walking and you're at Suntec City Mall. Just a half-mile away, you can get your picture taken at Singapore’s iconic Merlion. Swissotel The Stamford is connected by walkway to Raffles City Shopping center and is also located directly above the City Hall MRT station to get you wherever you want to go in the city.

Popular Wellness and Fitness Facilities

Willow Stream Spa at Swissotel The Stamford is one of Asia’s most extensive rejuvenation and recreation facilities. With six tennis courts, two swimming pools, yoga classes, and private rooms to work out with a personal trainer, you’ll never be at a loss for fitness activities. After your workout, head with your significant other to your spa appointments and book a couple’s suite featuring private Jacuzzi and aromatherapy options, or take a dip in the spa’s array of whirlpools and head to the sauna.

World Class Dining and Popular Nightclub On Site

Swissotel The Stamford offers diverse cuisines to satisfy the most refined palate at more than fifteen restaurants and cocktail bars inside its Equinox Complex, Singapore’s hotspot for upscale dining and drinking. JAAN and Equinox Modern European rank in the top tier of the thousands of restaurants in Singapore. There are Sichuan, Cantonese, and Japanese options as alternatives to these European restaurants.

Visit New Asia when the sun goes down. It's been dubbed one of the world's top 50 nightclubs. Not many travelers can boast that they've danced on the 71st floor with a panoramic view of Singapore's skyline.

Stunning Rooms With a Spectacular View

Choose a room at Swissotel The Stamford based on your desired view. All rooms have balconies and flat screen TVs. Classic Rooms and Swiss Advantage Rooms offer views of the city, while Classic Harbor View Rooms offer sweeping views of Marina Bay and the Central Business District. Guests staying in Swiss Executive Harbor View Rooms on floors 57 – 60 have access to the Swiss Executive Club Lounge where they enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet and evening cocktails.

Guests rave about the Stamford Crest suites on the hotel’s uppermost floors, but the Presidential Suite option is over the top with crystal chandeliers in a one or two bedroom layout. Rest assured that there is no other visitor in Singapore with a better view because you’re at the top of the city’s tallest hotel.

The Bottom Line

Four-star Swissotel Merchant Court is a more affordable option. A five-minute drive to the south away from the shopping bustle, it sits at a great historic riverside location between Clarke and Boat Quays. Location is the main difference between the two hotels, otherwise you’ll enjoy a luxurious pool area with water slides. Swissotel Merchant Court offers similar amenities to Swissotel The Stamford such as their on-site spa and fitness facilities, along with having a Swiss Executive Club lounge.
