Sadachiyo Offers Local Culture and Appealing Value

What Do the Rooms Include?

Guests will appreciate the traditionally decorated, antique-filled rooms. Each air-conditioned room features a private bath with a shower and bathtub combination, and free Wi-Fi access. Enjoy the turn-down service before slipping into the soft down comforter.

What Amenities Are Available?

Sadachiyo operates as a ryokan, or a traditional Japanese inn. Inside, enjoy a calming lounge where you can sip tea and coffee among books and antiques. Your yukata robe, happi coat, and slippers will heighten the ambience. Japanese cypress and black granite public baths welcome guests, and the hotel serves optional Japanese breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Due to the set menus, special diets cannot be accommodated.

What Are the Room Rates at Sadachiyo?

This traditional Japanese inn bases its room rates on tatami mats instead of beds. Reserve a two-person room with six or seven and a half tatami mats for $80 per night. Enjoy a two-person room with 12 tatami mats for $109 per night. Rates tend to increase on Friday or Saturday nights, the day before a holiday, and on the New Year's holiday.

What's There to Do Nearby?

This charming inn is located in Tokyo's popular Asakusa district. Just a 10-minute walk away, visit Hanayashiki Amusement Park, Sensoji Temple, and Asakusa Shrine. Reach the Tokyo Sky Tree and Tokyo National Science Museum after a one-mile trip.

What's the Bottom Line?

If you want to experience true Japanese culture, you can't miss with the Sadachiyo. Of the many Tokyo hotels, this lodging offers traditional hospitality in a cosmopolitan city.
