Adam Goldstein, Co-Founder & CEO
Adam is a full-time travel nerd and founded Hipmunk just weeks after his graduation from MIT in June 2010. At MIT, he earned degrees in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering, and was North American Debating Champion in 2010. Prior to Hipmunk, Adam co-founded BookTour with Wired's Chris Anderson, and was also the youngest author ever at O'Reilly, writing AppleScript: The Missing Manual at the age of 16.
Steve Huffman, Co-Founder & CTO
Prior to founding Hipmunk, Steve founded the online community reddit with his college roommate, Alexis Ohanian. Steve studied Computer Science at the University of Virginia, graduating in 2005. He loves programming, dancing, and motorcycles.
Joe Gambescia, Chief Commercial Officer
Joe was Hipmunk's first nontechnical employee. He now leads business development, corporate development, media sales, HR, finance, and Ops. Key contributions are team building, developing talent, development of high impact partnerships, and growth hacking through distribution. Outside of the office, Joe can be found either running or surfing.
Nancy Hang, VP of Product
Nancy is an innovative product leader with 10+ years experience in growth and monetization of consumer web and mobile products at companies including Zynga, Yahoo!, and IBM. Nancy leads Hipmunk's product team, spanning product management, design, and development. She possesses an MBA from MIT and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA. As a travel enthusiast, Nancy's dream job is to build creative and compelling products for travel, which she is now doing at Hipmunk.
Seth Sakamoto, VP of Engineering
Seth leads engineering and technical operations at Hipmunk. He has over 20 years of experience in engineering, holding leadership and executive positions across a broad range of US and global organizations including the US Department of Defense, Intuit, Constant Contact, Rearden Commerce, and Hipmunk. He is a humble Hawaiian who loves his family, is too old for basketball and has subsequently migrated to golf, reminisces about his days as a saxophonist and Quake2 player, and knows that engineers are the coolest people in the world.
