5. I’m sure you have tons, but what’s one of your most ecstatic travel moments?
Free-falling right before pulling the parachute.

6. If you could spend 24 hours anywhere, where would you go and what would you do?
I want to be transported to the tiny Alpine town of Vals, Switzerland. After a day hiking or skiing, I’ll swim around the Zumthor-designed thermal spring underneath Therme (a ’60s-style hotel and architectural marel) and have a nightcap at the supermod bar. I could also take a nice, sunny day in the orange grove at La Mamounia in Marrakech. It’s like wandering around in a Wes Anderson film. Just stunning.

7. Do you pre-plan your trips or let the wind take you?
No matter how spontaneous the trip, I can’t help digging around for tips, trivia, or a good book based on the destination for instant transport.
