San Francisco is known for its fog (it even has a name, Karl, and a Twitter handle). It’s no surprise, then, that part of the fun in visiting the city is in comparing the landmarks before and after the mists drift in.
Here is the Golden Gate bridge on a sunny day, and then on a foggy day. The fog changes the feel of the city entirely, adding what to me seems like a spooky ambiance to what was previously a normal street. It’s like getting two cities in just one visit!
