Photos from Hong Kong Capture Big City Chaos in Freeze-Frame

This is a Hipmunk post from Jodi Ettenberg of Legal Nomads.

Brian Yen decided he wanted to build a photo book about life and death in one of the most chaotic cities on earth. He started the series with long exposure photographs of Hong Kong, intending to document for a year. Six years later, he is still taking photos and we are glad for it – they are wonderful.

Below are three of his Hong Kong stills. For more, see his Flickr page or this writup from My Modern Met that houses more from the Hong Kong set. A very creative way to show the rest of us what Hong Kong feels like, even if we are miles and miles away.

See the big city for yourself! Head to Hipmunk and find your flight to Hong Kong.
