Vintage Travel Posters from the Boston Public Library

I’m a big fan of vintage posters, so it’s no surprise that I was thrilled to see the Boston Public Library make their cache of travel posters available online. While the collection was shown in the library up until October 2010, they’ve happily kept them up for viewing on their Flickr feed. 

The BPL’s description:

Extraordinary, eye-catching posters are vivid reminders of the beauty, excitement, and adventure of travel during the 1920s-1950s, when a world of enticing destinations and new modes of transportation beckoned onlookers to journey to distant lands.
